Bryce Reynolds – Managing Director
Bachelor of Commerce (UNSW)
Bryce has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry with varied and extensive knowledge from funds management, equity trading, stockbroking, equity capital markets, corporate advisory and management positions. Bryce began his career in 1986 as a Fund Manager at Prudential Assurance Ltd. After leaving Prudential Assurance in 1993 he had a short stint in stockbroking at Prudential Bache Ltd. From 1994 to 1997 Bryce was a proprietary trader for Macquarie Bank Ltd in their Equities Division. In 1997 he joined Taylor Collison Ltd (a regional Adelaide Stockbroker) and assisted in establishing their Sydney office. In 2000 Bryce established the Equities Division at Grange Securities Ltd (now Lehman Brothers), where he ran the team until late 2005. Bryce became a founding director of Veritas Securities Ltd in early 2006.
Clay Melbourn – Executive Director/Head of Operations
Clay has over 20 years experience within the financial services sector with extensive knowledge from various equity trading, stockbroking and proprietary trading roles. Clay started his career in 1983 as a “chalkie” with the ASX. A role quickly followed as a trading floor operator at ABS White (BNP) during the boom bust years of the 80’s. Clay honed his trading skills during the 90’s through the “tech boom” and was employed at Grange Securities Ltd (now Lehman Brothers) from 2000 at the inception of their equities division. Clay was responsible for advising and executing trades for both retail and wholesale clients through a range of market related strategies during this period. Clay became a founding director of Veritas Securities Ltd in early 2006.

Piers Reynolds – Executive Director, Head of Research

Piers has over 16 years experience in the resource sector working with various commodities including precious metals, base metals, nickel and bulk commodities. He was formerly a Senior Geologist for Resolute Limited until 2001 when he joined Grange Securities Limited (now Lehman Brothers) as a resource analyst. Piers has a strong understanding of company analysis from broad industry and analytical experience. As the Head of Resource Research at Grange Piers was responsible for the identification and analysis of resource companies and commodity forecasting for most sectors of the resource industry, including energy. Piers became a founding director of Veritas Securities Ltd in early 2006.

Stephen Murphy - Executive Director
Bachelor Business Acct/Fin (ECU), SIA Grad Dip Applied Finance.
Stephen has worked in senior positions in the financial markets for over 18 years. He has managed risk in both treasury and equity markets for large international banks including being the principal price maker for Bankwest AUD/USD operations. Over the past 10 years, Stephen has specialised in the resources sector and in takeovers, including managing the Resource and Energy Books at UBS. Prior To joining Veritas in 2006 Stephen managed the equity trading book at Grange Securities Ltd (now Lehman Brothers). Stephen became a founding director of Veritas Securities Ltd in early 2006.
