Bryce has been involved in the finance industry since 1986 providing him with 35+ years of industry knowledge and experience. Since 2000, Bryce has expanded his areas of expertise to include Funds Management and Investment Banking including Mergers and Acquisitions. He held leading roles with two mid-tiered Australian Securities firms before establishing Veritas as a founding director in 2006.
Bryce specialises in strategic Corporate Advice and Equity Capital Markets and oversees the operation and management of Veritas. He is a Responsible Manager under the NSX Business Rules and under Veritas’s AFS licence.
Piers Reynolds
Executive Director
Bachelor of Applied Science in Geology (UTS), Grad. Dip. Applied Finance and Investment from FINSA
Piers has over 25 years’ experience in the minerals and finance industries. He was previously a geologist in gold, base metals, and bulk commodities for ten years prior to joining a mid-tier Australian securities firm as a resource analyst. Piers has extensive experience in exploration, development and operation of mining projects and detailed knowledge of Equity Capital Markets, Corporate Advisory, Mergers and Acquisitions and Fundamental Analysis. He was a founding director of Veritas in 2006. Piers specialises in Capital Markets in the resource sector and is a Responsible Manager under the NSX Business Rules and under Veritas’s AFS licence.
Robert Scappatura

Robert has over 20 years’ experience in Investment markets. In this time Robert has gained experience across a variety of roles including Equity Capital Markets, research sales, execution, compliance, and administration. Prior to joining Veritas, Robert worked as an institutional dealer and was also responsible for advising and executing trades for wholesale clients in a mid-tier Australian securities firm. Robert joined Veritas in 2006 as an Executive Director with responsibilities that include interaction with Institutional Clients and Veritas’s Industrial Equity Capital Market services.
Stephen Scott

Stephen joined Veritas Securities in early 2024 as Director – Industrial Research – in the Sydney Office. Stephen has held senior roles in both Funds Management portfolio and Broking Equity research. Stephen has worked both onshore and offshore and has specialised in Small cap/Microcap industrial stock research and management of equity research teams. Stephen is a publishing equity analyst and focusses on sectors such as Energy Transition, Software/services, Financial Services, Advanced Engineering and Industrial sector(s).
Roberto Bettiol

Roberto joined Veritas in 2021 after 16 years at SONY Mobile as a Service Delivery Manager. Bringing with him over 10 years’ experience in managing Customer Service and Operations across the Oceanic region. Since joining Veritas, Roberto utilises his industry experience and expertise to oversee Operational responsibilities including Execution and Settlements as well as providing dealing support to our Institutional and High Net Worth clients.
Kelly Randle
Financial Controller & Compliance Officer

Kelly is an experienced Financial Controller with strong administration and compliance skills. She has a passion for accounting and an eye for detail which sees her enjoy trouble shooting and problem solving. Kelly’s industry knowledge has developed over 25 years of working alongside high-quality clients in both private and listed equities and she joined Veritas in 2013.

Max joined Veritas in 2020 holding roles in Operations and Research as he completed his Bachelor of Commerce Degree at the University of Sydney. Max works as a Research Analyst providing high-quality analysis and detailed financial models for the construction and distribution of comprehensive company research reports for Veritas’s client base.

Angus joined Veritas in 2021 as he continues to complete a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology Sydney. Angus supports operational staff with execution and settlement for clients, as well as assisting in analysis and research in a variety of companies.
